About The Role
Working with our Talent & Engagement Team, this role is responsible for promoting Motability Operations Ltd (MO)’s story internally, ensuring that information is conveyed in an engaging and compelling way, using multiple channels and across all teams within the business.
 
The overall objective of this role is to engage and empower all employees within MO by providing them the relevant news, corporate inspiration and the information they need to do their best work.
 
Accountabilities:
  • Lead on internal communications, including the fortnightly newsletter, leadership communications including webinars and company briefings, supporting on specific programmes where required and working closely with the broader HR and other business teams including diversity networks to advise and guide, and review materials before company-wide issue. 
  • Work with the Executive Support team to provide support to CEO roadshows and communications.
  • Working closely with the Head of HR, Talent & Engagement Manager, and the Marketing team to roll out and reinforce the MO brand internally.
  • Deliver the internal segment of the corporate brand and communications strategy, supporting roll-out of any brand programme of activities.
  • Manage MO’s current and future internal digital channels, including corporate intranet sites and any internal social channels (Slack etc). 
  • Track and benchmark MO’s performance in the UK employment market in areas such as employment brand strength, message impact, and external candidate awareness
  • Educate and provide tools for colleagues across the company to ensure consistent, company-wide application of the MO brand and Tone of Voice in all internal materials.
  • Support on other Engagement, Recruitment Marketing and D&I initiatives as required within the Talent & Acquisition team.
  • Supports the preparation of corporate people related commentary, i.e. Annual Report and Accounts, Pay Gap information.
About You
You will have gained the following skills/experience:
  • Able to demonstrate clear commercial acumen
  • Maintaining and sharing knowledge of progressive internal communication practices and trends
  • Experience of analysing, designing, outsourcing, delivering and evaluating communication and engagement initiatives and programmes
  • Communication content platform experience
  • Consultative style with the ability to constructively challenge senior business leads
  • Confident communicator and influencer, both verbally and written
  • Robust relationship management and partnering skills
  • Proven project management skills
  • Experience in a dynamic, tech tool savvy Communications role isions
