About The Role

Reporting to the PricingProcess Manager, the Pricing Analyst is responsible for providing performanceinsight on areas influencing pricing and helping support the processes neededto deploy that pricing. The role is focused on detailed analysis which can beused to support pricing decisions to ensure we deliver sustainable, affordablecustomer pricing across a range of vehicles by balancing the needs ofcustomers, manufacturers, and our own business objectives.

About You

  • Ownership of analysis and insight into a range of areas crucial to making informed pricing decisions across Cars, WAVs and PWSS
  • Managing the delivery of the governance reporting and monthly updates to Finance
  • Provide insight to support the development of Motability Operations pricing strategy
  • Understand business challenges & opportunities and develop new ways of looking at these to support and influence the thinking of the business
  • Assist with making improvements to pricing processes
  • Working with internal stakeholders you will continue to ensure the pricing system remains fit for purpose by continually supporting the development of the system
  • Ensure our pricing system (STEP) accurately reflects the core costs
  • Support negotiation strategies by assessing commercial viability and customer impact of pricing proposals, and working with the wider business to deliver these
Supporting the Pricing Process Manager and wider business as required
 

As a minimum for this role, you will need to have experience of

  • Ability to communicate insights and results of data analyses by producing written reports, dashboards and presenting face-to-face
  • Graduate in a discipline which demonstrates strong communication and analytical skills
  • Proven understanding of core economic principles, the business environment, and statistics
  • Proactive approach to work, to best identify opportunities
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage deadlines effectively
  •  Keen attention to detail
