About The Role

This is a new role in the Technology division at MO who are going through an exciting period of change to transition into a Product and Data led function.

Working within the Product workstream and liaising closely with key stakeholders, this role will be pivotable in supporting with driving change across people, process and ways of working. This role will be responsible for creating change strategies and plans with full collaboration across the Product sub-workstreams, feeding into the Change Management Lead to ensure a consistent delivery of change outcomes.

The Technology division at MO is going through exciting transformation and the Tech Product Team is a newly formed team which has responsibility for the Product Tech delivery at MO, working collaboratively to meet the needs of the customer and strategic business objectives.

About You

As the Product Change Manager, you will be responsible for:

Change Management:

  • Championing change across the Product workstream and Technology division
  • Develop and implement Product change management strategies and plans that maximise adoption and minimise resistance
  • Liaise closely with the Change Management Lead to ensure consistency and alignment with Product strategies and plans across other workstreams
  • Working collaboratively with the Product workstream lead and Change Management Lead to ensure changes are enhancing our culture and delivering successful outcomes

     

    Business Readiness:

  • Undertake Product change impact assessments and evaluate business readiness ensuring proposed interventions will drive the right outcomes
  • Liaise with the training co-ordinator to understand the appropriate timing and requirements for Product training to support employees development and upskill as appropriate

     

    Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Build relationships across the Product workstream, Technology and business areas, apply critical thinking, and take the initiative to drive results.
  • Foster collaboration and through partnership and develop an understanding of the Product change workstream initiatives value and impact
  • Utilise the existing change champion network
  • In collaboration with the Product workstream lead and Change Management lead, develop and execute communication plans, ensuring transparency and effective engagement across the business
 

Reporting

  • Identify and clearly communicate risks relating to meeting the Product workstream objectives and develop mitigation strategies to manage them
  • Identify and track the measure of success for Product change, regularly reporting these to the Product workstream lead
  • Working closely with the Portfolio team to carry out PIR’s following change implementations
 
Minimum criteria:
  • Experience in working across multiple Technology delivery teams and managing multi-workstream deliverables simultaneously
  • Leadership qualities, including strategic thinking, influencing, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to understand & communicate effectively to diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders, and technical teams
  • Exceptional business partnering, negotiation and relationship-building skills to foster partnerships and collaborations
  • Analytical and strategic thinking, with the capability to solve problems and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Experience in driving forward and supporting during periods of change would be beneficial
  • An understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools will be advantageous
  •  Experience of working in a Product team and Product ways of working is a plus
