Infrastructure Technical Lead

About The Role
We are looking for a passionate person who will play a key role in designing new services, making the changes to the existing in order, to provide a robust and scalable environment. This role requires working closely with the project team and other team leaders to ensure that consistent efficient delivery is achieved. This an opportunity for a hands-off technical lead who has passion and is prepared to maintain and improve current services, as well as design some new ones.

The Role
Department Leadership
  • Work with project and delivery teams to ensure that deliverables align with the Infrastructure Architecture
  • Evaluate new technologies and propose new solutions to effectively support the business
  • Evaluate existing systems and introduce improvements
  • Contribute to the infrastructure strategy & roadmap
  • Act as an escalation point for key decisions

Operational Responsibilities within Projects

  • Provide day to day support for the IT infrastructure (Project)
  • Regularly work with BAU team lead to ensure alignment
  • Assist with technical investigations, diagnosis and problem solving
  • Problem resolution and root cause analysis
Solution Design / Evaluation / Delivery
  • Contribute to and provide technical leadership and consultation to infrastructure projects
  • Work with portfolio, project and delivery teams assisting them to meet their goals
  • Evaluate new technologies and propose new solutions to effectively support the business
About You
We are looking for the following experience:
  • Experience delivering projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience delivering multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously
  • Disaster Recovery and business continuity planning
  • Experience with sizing and measuring/predicting performance
  • Experience supporting Windows, Linux, Exchange, Active Directory, Backups, Antivirus, File/Print, Patching
  • Implementation, and understanding of VMware vSphere and corresponding products
  • Office 365 deployment experience


  • Experience in leading/managing a team
  • Experience delivering large scale or complex projects
  • Experience in vehicle leasing sector
  • Experience working with Managed Service partners
