About The Role
Reporting into the Conversions & Adaptations Relationship Manager, the key responsibility of this role is to coordinate all aspects of the relationship between Motability Operations and a defined group of WAV converters, Adaptation Manufacturer and Installer partners, including quarterly pricing and performance management.

You will be responsible for ensuring that these suppliers have a good understanding of the business opportunity that Motability Operations represents and the requirements to supply the Scheme.

You will work closely with the suppliers to ensure a consistent level of service is provided for WAV and adaptation customers and that any concerns relating to supplier performance are resolved promptly.

Internally, you will work closely with various teams across Dealer and Customer Services to support customers and suppliers alike.
About You
This role is perfect for someone that is passionate about building relationships with suppliers and ensuring our customers get the best possible experience from the specialised product Schemes. The ideal candidate will have worked with external suppliers previously, particularly in terms of performance management, as well as experience of negotiation and commercial operations.

You should enjoy working independently, as well as part of a team, and have the ability to use systems, use reporting to monitor performance and implement strategic initiatives that support the overall objective of the department.

To get the most from this role experience of managing supplier relations would be beneficial, alongside knowledge of the more commercial aspects of the Scheme operations and the wider automotive market.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills as well as practical knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. You will need to be able to use your communication skills to present information, influence others (both internal and external stakeholders) and cascade information appropriately at the right time and in the right manner.

This role is most suited to someone who is able to drive results; who can develop ideas, both independently and to support the management team, and who understands business objectives and the importance of timescales. In addition, it is suited to someone who is self-organised, self-motivated, structured and methodical in their approach to their work.
Minimum Requirements -
As a minimum for this role, you will need to have experience of negotiating with suppliers and their performance management; a good understanding of the Scheme, particularly the specialised products, and the requirements of the customers that use them; the ability to work with suppliers, colleagues and Motability to develop practical solutions for the customer base
