About The Role

Reporting into the Digital Lead, the key purpose of this role is to develop and deliver continuous user experience enhancements for all MO websites.

You will be accountable for developing and driving the digital experience delivery roadmap, in line with business and marketing objectives, alongside evaluating and implementing a new platform to provide current and future website experiences.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop and maintain the overall principles that guide the execution of best in class user experiences across all websites within the organisation
  • Develop and deliver the roadmap for improvements to MO digital websites based on business and customer needs
  • Support other digital colleagues in keeping MO website experience up-to-date and making enhancements to key user journeys
  • Responsible for the creation of new digital assets, including management of suppliers and stakeholders to deliver complex digital solutions for use on website pages
  • Manage product development, testing and deployment in an Agile manner using Scrum methodology and artefacts
  • Own and prioritise the backlog, balancing business requirements and customer needs and ensure that they are well defined
  • Manage technical delivery teams. Translate business requirements into technical stories and vice versa
  • Manage the planned release programme to deliver incremental website improvements
  • Manage business stakeholder to gather  requirements in line with business objectives, manage expectations as well as gain sign off on deliverables
  • Develop requirements for web experience platform and be a key part of the team evaluating, selecting and implementing the same
About You
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about digital. You will be required to use data to support informed decision-making at all levels, and should enjoy working with technology, data and systems.

You should be customer-centric and naturally inclined to put customers at the centre of development to meet their needs, solve their problems and always look to improve the customer experience.

You should enjoy working with multiple business stakeholders, developing and maintaining strong relationships to ensure that you fully understand key departmental objectives, as well as the overarching departmental strategy. You will need to be a strong communicator who can build and manage relationships with stakeholders across the business. Experience of communicating with people at all levels of the business would be highly desirable.  

You will need to be highly motivated and be ready to take ownership for delivery of the work streams that you will be working on.  You are comfortable mapping out business process and can challenge and suggest improvements. 

You will also be open to new ways of doing things and be able to adapt to new methods of working. Being able to embrace the test and learn approach, alongside an ability to find the most efficient way of doing things, will help ensure you are successful in this role.
You will have gained the following skills/experience:
  • Experience of working in, or knowledge in agile and scrum
  • Experience delivering quality digital products
  • Proven skills in managing and inspiring a team to deliver to their full potential
  • Good understanding of website technicalities and have a good grasp of HTML and CSS
  • Experience in creating mock-ups and wireframes
  • Excellent communicaiton and interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and work with all levels within the organisation
  • Passionate about digital technology with a desire to keep on top of new technologies and share these best practices with the overall team
