About The Role
We are looking for an experienced & passionate OBIEE specialist to join the Online Pricing team as we transition onto a brand new OBIEE reporting suite. This is a great opportunity for someone to help shape and build the future analysis tools for Online Pricing.

Reporting to the Transition Pricing Team Manager, the role requires a candidate who will be able to pick up and understand business requirements quickly. In order to produce and refine new reports, as new data sets become available through the VRM Programme.

The role will be required to upskill the Online Pricing team in the use of OBIEE reports and dashboards.

The candidate will also support the team in the running of existing Excel based locally developed systems and day to day Business Objects reports

While usually based in our Bristol offices, the role is currently a combination of office and remote working during COVID restrictions. We are happy to discuss flexible ways of working.
  • To understand business requirements for the new reporting platform as well as existing reporting functionality 
  • To integrate into the VRM Programme in order to understand new data streams
  • To replicate and improve current reporting on our new platform using OBIEE 
  • To upskill members of the current Online Pricing team on OBIEE reporting and dashboards 
  • Solving problems & seeking improvements
  • To review data quality of business applications and reporting warehouse, raising issues and supporting to resolution
  • Provide technical leadership within the team
About You
You are a skilled OBIEE specialist. You should be comfortable dealing with large data sets and able to understanding business requirements to provide effective analytical solutions. In addition, you are experienced in sharing knowledge and upskilling other analysts. 
Minimium Criteria
  • Advanced MI skillset (SQL, VBA, Business Objects)
  • Advanced OBIEE Skills:
    o Visual Analyzer
    o                  - Data Connections
    o                  - Data Sets
    o                  - Narrating Projects
    o                  - Data Flows
    o Data Mashups
    o Creating Agents and Conditions
    o Using Advanced Analytics Functions
    o Choosing the correct visualisation for the data set
